Privacy Notice
Updated 5 October 2026 | Publisher: T24 Global
This notice explains how T24 Global, publisher of Restaurant 2050, handles personal data for the website, business accounts, service enquiries and platform operations. Restaurant tenants determine the purposes of their guest and staff data; T24 Global processes that data to provide the configured service and under applicable agreements. A restaurant's own notice also applies to its ordering and guest services.
1. Information processed
Depending on the features used, information may include names, email addresses, telephone numbers, business and staff details, delivery addresses, reservations, order and invoice records, payment references, support requests and chatbot transcripts. Authentication, audit and security records may include IP addresses, timestamps, device or browser information, approximate IP-derived location and trusted-device identifiers. Payment card entry is handled by the selected payment provider; do not put full card numbers, PINs or passwords in chat or support messages.
2. Purposes and lawful processing
We use information to provide accounts and workspaces, fulfil service requests, operate orders and communications under tenant instructions, administer subscriptions, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, handle disputes and meet applicable legal requirements. Where consent is required, we seek it for the relevant purpose. A tenant must establish its own lawful basis and required notices before collecting guest or staff data or enabling marketing.
3. Cookies, browser storage and measurement
Necessary browser storage supports login, tenant preferences, baskets, table sessions and security. A trusted-device choice can persist sign-in information on that device. Optional Google Analytics on eligible public marketing pages is controlled by cookie preferences; advertising measurement has a separate choice. Rejecting optional measurement does not prevent basic site use. You can change or withdraw those choices through Cookie preferences where measurement is available, and clear application storage through your browser, which may sign you out or remove an unsent basket.
4. Chat, voice, location and connected models
Chat messages and relevant menu, cart, order or service context may be sent to the model provider configured by the tenant. The platform default can route to an authenticated, self-hosted LM Studio service; a tenant may instead select another provider. Chat and action records may be retained for support and audit. Voice input may use device or browser speech-recognition services. Precise device location requires the relevant permission; IP-derived location is approximate and may be wrong. Provide only the information necessary for the task.
5. Sharing and international processing
Data may be processed by authorised tenant staff, T24 Global support personnel and suppliers needed for hosting, security, messaging, payments, analytics, AI or other enabled integrations. It may also be disclosed where lawfully required, to address abuse or protect legal rights. Providers and authorised personnel may process information outside your country, subject to applicable restrictions and contractual arrangements. Selecting an India locale does not itself guarantee that all connected services keep data in India.
6. Retention, archive and deletion
Retention depends on the data category, tenant settings, the service agreement, legal record-keeping and security or dispute requirements. Archive or soft-delete actions do not necessarily erase a record immediately. Where the platform's pending-hard-delete workflow is enabled, restricted records may remain accessible to authorised super administrators for a configured retention period that can extend to ten years. Personal data must not be retained merely because that technical maximum exists; lawful deletion and minimisation requirements take precedence. Backups may age out separately under their retention policy.
7. Security and shared responsibilities
Access restrictions, secret handling and audit controls are used to help protect information, but no system, network or recovery process is completely secure. Protect your credentials, restrict staff access, secure devices and maintain independent business backups. Report suspected data incidents to support@t24global.com without including passwords or unnecessary personal data. The Terms contain service and data-loss limitations, but do not waive privacy or security duties that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Requests, choices and grievances
Contact support@t24global.com for privacy questions, correction, access, deletion, consent withdrawal or a grievance, including any rights available under the law applicable to you. Include the relevant restaurant or workspace and sufficient information to locate the record; do not send identity documents unless requested through an appropriate secure process. We may verify identity and authority, coordinate with the responsible tenant and retain information when a lawful exception applies. Withdrawal may affect a feature that requires the information. You may approach a competent regulator or forum as permitted by law.
9. Children and tenant obligations
Business administration accounts are intended for authorised adults. Restaurants must address any applicable requirements for children's data, parental consent and age-appropriate guest services before collecting such data. Do not submit children's personal information unless authorised and legally permitted. Contact support if information appears to have been provided contrary to these requirements.
10. Updates, governing law and contact
This notice may change as features, providers or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be communicated where required. Indian law and the Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka jurisdiction provision in our Terms apply to contractual disputes, without removing mandatory privacy rights or a competent regulator's authority.
